In accordance with the January 4th City of Philadelphia COVID-19 revised restrictions ASHM galleries will reopen effective Friday, January 8th, 2021.
Our Gift Shop will remain open and is expanded into the Grand Hall so that we can accommodate shoppers in a socially distanced space. We are also happy to take gift shop orders over the phone for curbside pick-up.
The Museum continues to be a committed community wellness partner and will be adhering to the following state and city policies:
- Staff and visitors are required to wear a face covering while in the building and maintain the standard 6 feet of physical distance at all times.
- In specific compliance with the Philadelphia COVID-19 policy, occupancy in the Gift Shop area will be limited to 5 visitors at a time. This may mean a line will form to enter the shopping space and customers will be asked to wait in a designated area.
- The Museum galleries have a limited capacity or visitors.
- Staff will maintain a frequent cleaning schedule of commonly used surfaces.
