Members Only Preview Exhibit Opening: American by Craft: The Furniture of Olof Althin

This exhibition explores the important legacy of turn-of-the-century Swedish immigrant cabinetmaker, Olof Althin, within the field of American decorative arts. Curators, Erica Lome and Trevor Brandt, will present new research into immigrant craftsmen networks and their impact on an emerging American style in the decorative arts. A tour and Q&A session will be presented both in-person and virtually over Zoom, followed by an onsite reception. This event is free for members of the Decorative Arts Trust and the American Swedish Historical Museum. Please register below.
