Learning a new language is a fun and exciting challenge. The shelter in place orders during the first half of the year left a lot of people with spare time to learn new skills. If learning to speak Swedish is on your list, then joining our new online Swedish Language program may be the perfect option for you! Whether you are brand new to Swedish, have some experience and want to learn more, or you are looking for conversation partners, there is a class option tailored to your level.
Classes will be held online via Zoom. A meet-and-greet event is scheduled at the Museum before the start of the semester. Classes begin the week of September 14th and run ten sessions through November 16th. At the conclusion, a special in-person gathering will be held at the Museum in December to explore Swedish holiday traditions!
(*Please note that in person gatherings are subject to change based on Philadelphia and Pennsylvania COVID-19 regulations. Face coverings and physical distancing are required.)
